Martin Filippov offers online tutoring in math, Estonian, Russian, and English. Flexible lessons for students of all ages and exam preparation. TUTOR MARTIN FILIPPOV I work as a mathematics teacher at Tallinn English College and Tallinn French Lyceum. I earned my Master’s degree in Business Information Technology from Tallinn University of Technology. In my thesis, I developed an educational platform that, once implemented, improved my students’ national exam results by an average of 15% in mathematics and 12% in Estonian. I also studied the impact of gamification on the learning process for both children and adults. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT Systems Development from Tallinn University of Technology. During my studies, I created new APIs for a company’s digital platform, aimed at improving payment systems and increasing turnover. The company’s success extended to the Nasdaq market. I graduated from Tallinn French Lyceum and attended primary school at Tallinn English College. Over the past seven years, I have taught more than 3,000 students from Estonia and abroad. My students study in schools and universities across Estonia, as well as in Germany, Italy, the UK, Canada, and the USA. PRIVATE MATHEMATICS LESSON I help students from grades 1 to 12 prepare for exams and tests, and understand complex topics. I work with both the national curriculum (RÕK) and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. I also assist with homework. In my lessons, I use modern tools that make learning clearer and more interactive. Classes are held via Zoom or Google Meet, using a Mac and iPad (students can see what I write in real time) as well as digital tools like GeoGebra, Desmos, and more. All tasks and notes are saved to Google Docs and sent to both the student and parents after the lesson. I teach from a professional studio with high-quality sound and video, ensuring that online lessons are as effective as possible. I speak fluent Estonian, Russian, and English, so students can choose the language of instruction. I am available every day from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM and can be reached on all major social media platforms. PRIVATE ESTONIAN LANGUAGE LESSONS I teach students of all ages (5 to 65) at A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 levels. I help improve grammar, speaking, and writing skills, prepare for national exams, school tests, and language proficiency exams, and assist with homework, research projects, and theses. Lessons are conducted via Zoom or Google Meet using a Mac and iPad. All exercises and notes are saved to Google Docs and shared with the student and parents after each lesson. Private English Lessons I teach English at levels A1 to C1 to students aged 5 to 65. I correct grammar, improve spoken and written expression, and prepare students for exams, including Cambridge English (B1–C2), IELTS, TOEFL, and other tests. Lessons are held via Zoom or Google Meet, with all materials saved to Google Docs and shared after each class. PRIVATE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE LESSONS I teach Russian at A1 to C1 levels to students aged 5 to 65. I help improve grammar, spoken and written communication, and prepare students for exams such as TORFL (B1–C1), the Unified State Exam (EGE), TRKI, and others. Lessons are conducted via Zoom or Google Meet using a Mac and iPad. All exercises and notes are saved to Google Docs and shared with the student and parents after the lesson.
