HOW THE BOOKING SYSTEM WORKS
Which platform to choose ?
The most popular choices for students are Zoom and Google Meet. It is always better to use a computer or an iPad for online lessons, as the teacher shares their screen with the student. If you prefer to use your phone, Zoom and Google Meet work perfectly there as well. However, if you wish, you can choose “Another platform” and select WhatsApp or any other messenger app you use most frequently. I use all major platforms and social media apps and am always available for students everywhere on the internet.
Number of participants
These bookings are for one-on-one individual lessons. If you're interested in group lessons or would like to arrange a session for a company or school, please contact me with the details: the number of participants, location, and the duration of the lesson.
About the lesson
-
Each lesson/meeting lasts 60 minutes.
-
Booking: www.martinfilippov.com/booking
-
After you click book you will receive an e-mail with a unique link to the lesson. Before the lesson just click on it and you will be in.
-
All necessary materials are provided by the teacher. You only need a laptop or a phone with a microphone and a good mood.
-
Typically, I hold one-on-one meetings, but I am also available for group sessions. Please specify how many people are in the group by SMS +37258256322
-
After the lesson you will receive a Google Docs file with all materials and homework. These materials will stay with student forever.
-
For the best and smoothest experience, I recommend using a computer. If you're using a tablet or iPhone, please download the Google Docs app as well as the Zoom or Google Meet app
-
For Google Meet meetings, please avoid using your school email, as schools often impose restrictions that may block access to the meeting. If you encounter such an error, log in with a different email address. Alternatively, contact me, and I will provide you with a Zoom lesson link instead.
-
There are two separate calendars: one for Zoom and another for Google Meet. When a client books a time slot in one calendar, the corresponding time slot in the other calendar is automatically blocked, as bookings are for one-on-one meetings. However, no system is perfect, and occasional bugs may occur. If you notice any issues, such as a time slot not being booked or blocked incorrectly, please contact me.
-
The backend programming of the system is complex, as it is integrated with multiple calendars I manage. Occasionally, challenges can arise—students may fall ill or cancel bookings. Additionally, due to caching, you might see an outdated version of the calendar or website if the same tab has been open for several days. To view the most up-to-date time slots and website information, simply add ?? to the URL. For example, visit: www.martinfilippov.com/?? to clear the cache and refresh the page.
-
If you are not receiving a link, it could be due to one of two reasons: either client entered an incorrect email address, or there is a system bug. The system rarely goes down. If you do not receive an email with the lesson link, please contact me directly for assistance.
-
The teacher reserves the right to cancel a booking if necessary.
