Hi, I’m Martin Filippov, an Estonian language teacher working with students of all ages from young learners to adults. I help students not only improve their grammar, speaking, and writing but also prepare for national exams, school assessments, and professional or academic language tests.

Over the years, I’ve taught more than 3,000 students from all over Europe. Many of them have successfully passed language exams and gone on to study at top schools and universities, including Tartu University, TalTech, and well-known schools in Germany, Italy, the UK, France, Canada, and the US. I truly believe that with clear explanations and the right technology, learning Estonian can be both effective and enjoyable no matter your level or background.

My lessons are always adapted to the student. I explain grammar step by step, practice speaking and writing in real time, and make sure everything is understood before moving forward. I use Zoom or Google Meet, combined with tools like interactive whiteboards, modern apps, and shared Google Docs to create a fun and effective language-learning experience.

I speak Estonian, Russian, and English fluently and hold language certificates, so I can explain even the most difficult grammar rules in the language that works best for the student.

I’m available daily from 07:00 to 23:00, and lessons can be booked through my website. Whether you’re a beginner or already advanced, I’ll help you take your Estonian skills to the next level.

IN THE LESSON

During the lesson, the screen will be shared with the student so both the teacher and student can write, solve problems, and work together in real time. The teacher will guide the student step-by-step through the tasks, whether on the digital whiteboard or directly in the textbook. Students are also encouraged to actively write on the screen, just like in a real classroom.

After the lesson, all materials — including notes, solutions, and exercises — will be shared with the student, so nothing is lost and everything can be reviewed later. The teacher remains available every day on social media or messaging apps to answer any questions related to the lesson or to clarify any topics that need more explanation.

To ensure the best possible learning experience, the teacher uses the latest technology and all the top premium educational platforms. This approach guarantees that everything is presented clearly, visually, and in a way that helps the student easily understand and remember what they've learned.
