ABOUT MARTIN FILIPPOV

I work as a teacher at Tallinn English College and Tallinn French Lyceum. My teaching approach blends traditional methods with modern digital tools. Over the years, I have guided thousands of students toward academic success by creating a motivating and supportive learning environment.

I studied at the Tallinn English College and Tallinn French Lyceum before continuing my education at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), where I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Information Technology. For my master’s thesis, I developed an innovative learning platform that helped students improve their national exam results by 15% in mathematics and 12% in Estonian. During my studies, I also completed additional courses in AI, German, English, and programming, and was an active member of ITÜK and Lapikud.

Before university, I completed my secondary education at the Tallinn French Lyceum (2016–2019). From 2007 to 2016, I attended the Tallinn English College, where I completed my primary education.

In addition to teaching, I work in web and software development, specializing in technologies such as PHP, Java, Python, C#, Drupal, Symfony, React.js, and databases like MySQL and MariaDB. I help companies digitalize their businesses by building modern websites, e-commerce platforms, and SEO-optimized pages that are both visually appealing and highly functional. From 2021 to 2023, I worked as a Software Engineer at Punktid.com.

Since 2019, I have been working as a teacher and private tutor. I teach Estonian, English, and Russian languages, as well as mathematics and programming. I’ve taught over 3,000 students, many of whom have gone on to study at top schools and universities in Estonia and abroad. ​
