PROGRAMMING IN MINECRAFT

Welcome to my Programming in Minecraft Education course. This fun, hands-on program is designed for children aged 8 to 16. It combines creativity, programming, mathematics, and English into one exciting adventure. Using Minecraft Education Edition, your child will explore coding, logic, and artificial intelligence while completing challenges, creating new games, and developing valuable skills for school and beyond.

What Will Your Child Learn?

  • The basics of programming using block-based code and Python 
     

  • How to use logic and algorithms to control in-game agents and solve creative challenges
     

  • Mathematics in Minecraft: measuring, building symmetrical structures, calculating area/volume, using coordinates, and solving puzzles
     

  • How to practice English by reading instructions, understanding commands, and writing simple code in English-based syntax
     

  • How AI works by building your own smart agents, NPCs, and automatic game systems
     

  • How to create new worlds and missions every lesson, developing both imagination and problem-solving
     

Every session ends with a project your child has built on their own, and homework that encourages them to explore more at their own pace.

 

What Tools Do We Use?

  • Minecraft Education Edition 
     

  • Block-based coding and Python. Both beginner-friendly and expandable for advanced students
     

  • Online collaboration tools like Google Docs, screen sharing, and TERA or GitHub (our private student platform) for homework, ideas, and additional resources
     

  • Apps and tools that boost creativity and logic
     

 

Educational Benefits Beyond the Game

This course is designed to support school success and help students develop future-ready skills. Through fun and practical activities in Minecraft Education Edition, children strengthen their mathematical thinking by solving in-game challenges, while also improving their logical reasoning and structured thinking, which are essential for problem-solving in every subject. At the same time, they build their English skills by learning technical vocabulary, reading instructions, and practicing basic writing. The course also provides a solid STEM foundation, offering an introduction to programming, artificial intelligence, and the basics of computer science. In addition, students are encouraged to use their imagination and creative thinking through open-ended projects, where they can build, design, and customize their own worlds.​
