PROGRAMMING IN ROBLOX
Does your child love playing Roblox? What if they could learn to create their own games instead of just playing them? With my Programming in Roblox Studio course, kids aged 8 to 16 will take their first steps into the world of game design and coding — all while having fun in a platform they already know and love! This course is perfect for beginners, no previous coding experience is needed. Students will use Roblox Studio and the Lua programming language to design custom worlds, write scripts, and bring their ideas to life as real, working games.
What We’ll Learn
-
How to use Roblox Studio tools to build 3D maps, terrain, characters, and objects
-
Introduction to Lua coding, a beginner-friendly language used in real Roblox games
-
How to create working scripts: teleporters, buttons, doors, animations, scoreboards, and more
-
How to design and test a game that others can play
-
Basic game logic: variables, events, conditions, loops, and functions — explained step by step
-
Game development thinking: creativity, structure, testing, and problem-solving
By the end of the course, students will have built their own playable Roblox game, which they can share with friends or continue improving!
